I can’t believe it’s already time to head back to school! I hope you have had a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer. On behalf of the Todd Lane staff, I would like to welcome everyone to the 2026-2027 school year at Todd Lane Elementary! As we prepare for the new school year, I’d like to share a few important dates and reminders to help ensure a smooth and successful start for everyone:
- Friday, August 7: Teacher assignments available in PowerSchool.
- Wednesday, August 19: Open Visitation - Families may visit Todd Lane from 5:00-6:00 PM to walk around and explore the school.
- Monday, August 24: Third Grade Orientation - Third-grade families are encouraged to attend an orientation at 5:30 PM. Mrs. Breaden will present, and students will meet their teachers!
- Wednesday, August 26: First Day of School! 📚
- Updated School Hours: Our schedule has shifted forward by 10 minutes.
- School Start Time: 9:15 AM
- Parent Pick-Up Begins: 3:35 PM
- Dismissal Ends: 3:50 PM

- Updates and Reminders
- Toy Policy (Squishies & Slime): Squishies and slime of any kind will not be permitted at school. These items often break or leak, causing significant damage to school materials and extra work for our custodial staff. Thank you for helping us keep our school clean!
- Dress Code Reminders: As you shop and prepare outfits for the school year, please remember that crop tops, slides, and pajama pants are not permitted. These are our most common dress code violations, so a quick morning check with your child is greatly appreciated.
